The Carpentries is hiring!

The Carpentries is searching for two new full-time team members, and one temporary employee or contractor to join our global, mission-driven organisation. These new roles will work with and serve our volunteer community - comprising approximately 70,000 learners, 2,500 instructors, 100 Trainers, and 85 partner organisations from research institutions around the world. Director of Partnerships / Deputy Director of Partnerships

We are hiring a Director or Deputy Director of Partnerships to provide planning, vision, and implementation of the partnership program and represent the needs of partner organisations in planning and strategic development. Individuals with work authorisation in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States should apply.

Workshop Administrator

We are hiring a Workshop Administrator to coordinate logistics and communications for all Carpentries workshops. This will be a US-based position, and only individuals with work authorisation for the United States should apply.

Python/Django Developer

To support our growth, we are looking for a Python/Django Developer to work on AMY, our web app to manage the data about our community members, our member organisations, and our workshops.

Our new team members will join a diverse and engaged team of remote professionals working to spread data-driven research skills around the world. We use evidence-based teaching practices to build global capacity in essential data and computational skills, and we promote reproducible research and open science/open source widely.
