- Greg posted a SWC-related visualisation challenge and got some interesting suggestions. Do you want to turn Andrew Abela's guide to visualisation into a half-day SWC lesson? Please get in touch.
- The third post-workshop debriefing discussed several workshops where mostly R was taught. A few issues came up, including the benefits of having a single data set that runs through all of the lessons. This will be discussed in an upcoming lab meeting.
- Jon Udell is working on an update to his report on Online Scientific Collaboration and wants to hear from you. Please get in touch if you want to participate or if you know of someone who should be involved.
- Andrea Zonca wrote instructions on installing the main requirements for running a workshop on a Chrome Book.
- Software Carpentry was mentioned as part of a Python Toolkit in a Nature Toolbox article by Jeffrey M Perkel.
