• Changing your prompt in the terminal when teaching the Shell lessons could provide more screen real estate. "export PS1='$ '" will change your current terminal only.

• The latest instructor debriefing is available and summarises feedback from five different workshops.
• Arna Karick provided comprehensive feedback from their python workshop run at Swinburne. They suggest running pre-course installation hours and offering the Shell lessons as optional pre-workshop homework sessions to allow more time for python and git.
• Are you interested in using Docker to wrap your research paper's data analysis pipeline? Titus Brown recently tried it and provides an insightful write-up about his experience.
• Four workshops were run this week: University of New Mexico, Western University, Boston Unviversity School of Medicine, and Stellenbosch University.
